CAMP AKIVA 2022 DETAILS

Check-in, Getting there, and coming back

Camp will take place June 19-23 at Camp Akiva, east of Dallas.

Check-in will take place on Saturday, June 18, from 5:00-7:00 p.m in the Student Center. We are asking that you come and check in the night before, so we can make sure you have all of your paperwork. (See the “Required Forms” section under “Important Stuff” below.) We will give you your lanyard once you have checked in, and that will be your ticket onto the bus the next morning. You can bring all of your luggage and it will be locked in the student center to be loaded on the bus the next morning.

We will meet at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, June 19, and load onto the buses and depart from Southern Hills by 8:00 a.m. Please be on time!

Closing ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, June 23. We will hopefully be packed and loaded onto the bus by 1:00 p.m. and on our way home. If that happens we will be pulling back into Southern Hills at 5:30 p.m. We will be in communication with you as to arrivals and departures.Camp Theme

  • Each year outstanding students volunteer to serve their peers through certain aspects of camp. Whether it be prayers at meals and sessions, leading a color crew, setting up and tearing down, or helping in the sound booth - our students using their leadership abilities and gifts is one of the most beautiful and powerful things about camp.
