COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Physical distancing

The auditorium as well as our overflow seating areas have been rearranged to allow us to easily maintain adequate distance between households.

As unnatural as it might feel, please refrain from handshakes and hugs as you interact with others. We look forward to the day when we won’t have to think so much about maintaining distance from others, but we aren’t quite there just yet.

Face masks

We strongly encourage everyone to bring some kind of face covering to wear. Wearing a mask is more about protecting others than yourself, and as followers of Jesus, we always want to do whatever we can to help other people when we get the chance.

Wearing a mask is especially important:
    1) as you enter the building before you are seated
    2) while we sing together during worship
    3) as you leave your seat and exit the building

If you do not bring a mask of your own, a mask will be provided for your use.

Clean spaces

We are doing our very best to offer a safe and sanitized space for all of us to share. All rooms and spaces are cleaned carefully and thoroughly before and after we use them. Surfaces that are touched often are sanitized not only before, but also during our worship gathering times.

The nursery is not open at this time, but diaper-changing stations are available in our restrooms.

Except for the main lobby, auditorium, overflow seating areas, and select restrooms, most of our campus will remain closed. Please help us by making sure you and your children remain in the areas that are open.

Communion

As you enter the building, you will be given the opportunity to pick up individually pre-packaged communion supplies.

As you exit the auditorium, there will be clearly marked boxes where you can place any financial gifts that you bring with you on Sundays. You can also continue to give online or mail your contribution to the church office.

After Worship

As soon as our formal worship time ends, please immediately make your way outside. Feel free to visit and fellowship in the open air while maintaining proper physical distancing.

If you have young children, please make sure that they remain under your direct supervision while you visit outside. Cars will be moving in the church parking lot as well as on the streets right around our building.

Who should probably stay home for now?

COVID-19 can be transmitted by people who have no symptoms. While we would love to see everyone in person again, we recommend that those who belong to a high-risk category (those 65 or older, as well as those of any age with underlying health conditions) stay at home for the time being.

Additionally, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, are running a fever, or feel sick at all, please stay home until you feel better and have fully recovered.

We are working diligently to make sure that our online worship gathering experience helps you feel as close as you can to actually being in the same room with us, even when you can’t be with us in person. Click here to join us online.
